Theme Verse: James 2:15-17
If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, and one of you says to
them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” yet you do not give them what is necessary
for their body, what use is that? In the same way, faith also, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.
It is said that a person needs to hear a message seven times before they take action on it.
You don’t know where your interaction with a person falls on that timeline. Know and trust
that God is using you in the lives of others whom you will interact with over the course of
your project.
Below are some topics to consider as you ask the Holy Spirit to guide your prayers:
Revival & Spiritual Awakening in Silicon Valley
- Pray for a powerful revival to sweep through Silicon Valley, especially in places of
influence—businesses, tech companies, and city leadership. - Ask God to spark spiritual curiosity and God conversations, drawing many to Jesus.
Unity Across the Church & Partnerships for Peace
- Pray for partnerships between churches, local government, and nonprofits that
foster a unified Church seeking the peace and flourishing of every city in Silicon
Valley.
Protection & Encouragement for Leaders and Volunteers
- Pray for safety, protection, and strength for all leaders, volunteers, and their
families. - Ask God to knit volunteers together in deep relationships filled with joy, so they are
renewed and inspired to serve with passion.
Bold Witness & Missional Living
- Pray for all who serve to be filled with the Holy Spirit, living lives of bold faith and
gentle invitation. - Ask that they would recognize and respond to those in crisis or searching, being the
loving presence of Jesus in their communities.
Excellence that Glorifies God
- Pray that all projects would be completed on time and with excellence, so that the
church’s involvement points people to the goodness and glory of God. - Praying Scripture aligns our hearts with God's truth, strengthens our faith, and ensures our prayers are rooted in His will and promises. Below are several Scriptures to consider as you pray. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide, inspire, and help you stay grounded in God's Word throughout the process.
Matthew 6:9-10
“Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father, who is in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your
kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
Philippians 4:5-6
5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6Do not be anxious about
anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your

Colossians 4:2-6 (NIV)
Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God
may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for
which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should. Be wise in the way you
act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always
full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.
1 Timothy 2:1-4 (NIV)
I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for
all people – for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in
all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people
to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.
Romans 8:26 (ESV)
Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we
ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.
1 Thessalonians 1:2-3
2We always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in our prayers. 3We
remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Hebrews 10:24 (NIV)
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds,
Colossians 3:23-24 (NIV)
23Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human
masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It
is the Lord Christ you are serving.
1 Corinthians 10:31
So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

and mourning.” ...Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow
to anger and abounding in love...
Isaiah 60:1–3
“Arise, shine, for your light has come... and nations shall come to your light, and kings to
the brightness of your rising.”
Malachi 1:11
“For from the rising of the sun to its setting my name will be great among the nations...”
2 Corinthians 10:4 (ESV)
For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy
strongholds.
